Event:  Shipwrecked Vacation Bible School
Date:  Sun, July 15, 2018
Time:  6:30 p.m.
Details:  Kids discover that Jesus rescues them!  Today's generation is like no other in history!  They've been "linked in" since day one with instant access to a sea of information.  A constant media feed and increasing push toward excellence has led to waves of worries and struggles that kids have never faced before.  Kids leave Shipwrecked VBS knowing that there is Someone bigger than their struggles.  Someone stronger than their weakness.  Someone who loves them unconditionally...Jesus!

VBS is Sunday through Thursday - 6:30 to 9:15 p.m. each night
Classes for kids ages 2 through those going into 6th grade this fall.

VBS is free however we do take up a missions offering each night.

Online registration will be open soon.

Event:  Defenders of the Faith Karate
Date:  Wed, January 23, 2019 - Tue, October 16, 2018 (Recurs Weekly)
Time:  6:00pm
Place:  Fellowship Center
Details:  Do you or your children want to learn karate?  We are a ministry first and foremost.  We use martial arts as a vehicle to teach biblical discipleship.  We have handbooks for students 7 years and up.  In them, students do the lessons at home with the parents & we check them in class.  We also do devotions each class out of the handbooks.

Ages & class times are Tuesdays & Thursdays:

3-6 year olds 6:00-6:30
7 to adult 6:30 - 7:30
Adults only 7:30 - 8:00

Starter packs include t-shirt, uniform, patches, handbook (if applicable), bibles, etc.  Rangers (3-6 year olds ) $50, juniors & adults $80.

Class dues are $1 per class per student to help support the ministry at the church. We DO teach real martial arts & students are actually earning rank in a martial arts system.  Lucas teaches Tang Soo Do to all students as a base system.  In the adults only class, Kenjukido is taught, which is a combatives form of martial arts that primarily focuses on self defense.

There is no cost involved to come & try out a class.  Contact Jennie or Lucas at or call 615-4940 if you have any questions.
